All the details of Christina Applegate's wedding ring
Feb 28, 2013
Christina Applegate recently revealed that she secretly tied the knot with longtime fiance Martyn LeNoble, according to People magazine. The two exchanged vows in front of friends and family during an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles this past weekend.
Iconic jeweler Neil Lane created the beautiful wedding ring for Applegate, and he admits that the sparkler was the typical type of wedding ring.
"It has a border of diamonds around it like a sleeve. We took her engagement ring and fit it in a sleeve of little diamonds to become one with the wedding band. It's platinum and diamond inset with tiny little diamonds everywhere," Lane told the media outlet.
The ring and nuptials was certainly a long time coming, as the couple has been together since 2008. They got engaged in 2010, and have a 2-year-old daughter, Sadie Grace. In 2008, Applegate was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy in the same year. The "Up All Night" star admits that she doesn't know how she would have made it without LeNoble.
"I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life," Applegate told the publication in 2010. "Without him, I don't know if I could've gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he's been a really incredible help."
Those who want a ring like Applegate's, but do not have the funds to sport a Neil Lane creation can still get a similar look by purchasing affordable jewelry such as the 6.54 TCW Marquise-Cut Cubic Zirconia Sterling Silver Engagement Anniversary Ring for much less.
