Angelina shines during Berlin's Cinema for Peace Gala

Angelina Jolie looked nothing short of fabulous as she walked the red carpet at Berlin's Cinema for Peace Gala this past Monday.

The actress turned director sparkled in a grey floor-length column dress, which was complete with a matching belt. She paired the look with subtle fashion jewelry and her hair in loose waves.

According to The Associated Press, Jolie was honored at the event for her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which she also helped write. The film is about two lovers, a Bosnia Muslim woman and a Bosnian-Serb man, who found love before Bosnian war. Jolie explained she wanted the audience to feel uneasy while watching, as it focused a great deal on the life in the prison camps.

"It's a strange thing to say as a director and a filmmaker, but I want people to be very uncomfortable when they watch it, and they should be upset and they should want some intervention, and they should want it to stop and they should be angry," Jolie told the news source.
