Anne Hathaway goes goth for New York City premiere

Anne Hathaway continues to stun - and maybe even shock - at the premieres of her latest film, "Les Miserables," and this was no different when she arrived on the red carpet for the New York City premiere. According to The Huffington Post, Hathaway donned a Tom Ford black taffeta frock from the Spring 2013 collection. The gown was complete with a cape, thigh-high slit, dazzling earrings and bondage-inspired footwear.

As Hathaway travels across the globe, promoting the film, she often has to answer questions about the weight she had to lose for the part. According to The Hollywood Reporter, when she was on David Letterman on Monday night, he asked how much she lost. Hathaway admitted she shed 25 pounds, and Letterman was quick to tell her she did not need to lose the weight to begin with.

"It wasn't so Fantine would look hot," Hathaway told Letterman. "It was all to look like she'd gotten really, really ill."
