Best Actress nominees look stunning at the Oscar luncheon

The Academy Awards nominees attended the annual luncheon, which honors those who have been nominated, in Beverly Hills this past Monday. Even though the actors and actresses are being recognized for their fantastic performances on the big screen, they also are judged on the amazing gowns and jewels they wear to the big event.

The Best Actress nominees showed up for the luncheon, and all five looked exquisite. Michelle Williams, who is up for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn," donned a Victoria Beckham silk, cloud-print dress that had sequined embellishments and a cute collar. "The Help" star Viola Davis chose a hot pink number by Juan Carlos Obando, which turned many heads.

Glenn Close, who received the nod for "Albert Nobbs," chose a vibrant print coat by Stella McCartney along with cobalt blue trousers. Rooney Mara of "The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo," opted for a black pantsuit with a white coat, whereas "The Artist's" Berenice Bejo chose a purple knee-length dress.

Even though all of the actresses went with subtle fashion jewelry, it seemed as though Streep was the one to wear the modest jewels best. The actress donned gold bangles on her wrist with matching earrings to enhance her elegant black dress.
