Celebrity engagement rings spark trends

Often times what the A-list celebrities are wearing become quick fashion trends among people across the country, and engagement rings are no different. According to National Jeweler, stars such as Britney Spears, Anne Hathaway and Drew Barrymore have all been sporting rings from their recent engagements, and many of these platinum ring designs are growing in popularity.

Classic and timeless are always sought out after. These beautiful rings are focused on the diamond, and nothing else.

Also, the pave diamonds on the band has become a popular trend. These little diamonds are embedded into the platinum band, giving the stone in the middle a little extra sparkle. Jason Trawick recently popped the question to Spears, and gave her a ring with this design.

"Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same - she is his princess!" Neil Lane, the fashion jewelry designer who created Spears' ring, told the new source.
