Dark was the night: stars wear black at Armani show
Oct 29, 2013
At Armani's recent One Night Only show, the king of fashion showed off some of his favorite designs over the history of his career at an event so big that Mayor Bloomberg declared the date "Giorgio Armani Day." Among the lucky guests at the extravagant party, which was estimated to cost nearly $8 million, were a slew of celebrities and movie stars, many of whom opted to wear dark outfits. Here were a few fashion favorites from the night:
The actress showed off her long legs in a super short skirt and high-necked, sleeveless satin shirt in matching black. To cover up, Munn wore a dark cape jacket and finished her look with a pair of open-toed pumps and a smart clutch with silver accents. The star brightened her look with a pop of cherry red lipstick and added a little sparkle to contrast her pulled-back hair with a pair of glittery gemstone cluster earrings, similar to the Round Diamond Pave 10k Yellow Gold 3-Piece Bridal Engagement Cluster Ring Set on her right hand gave her a complete and polished appearance.
Going for a two-toned appeal, Naomi wore a long velvet skirt in inky black, which just brushed the ground with a ruffle at the hem. Completing her more conservative outfit was a shimmery satin top in dark gray, and a pair of disc shaped earrings in silver and blue as well as a silver bracelet with leaf-shaped links. Mimic her look with similarly styled pieces, like the Black And White Diamond Infinity Bracelet Silvertone And Black Rhodium Plated.
Satin and velvet seemed to be the theme of the night, as the "Glee" actress went for a mid-length dress with a velvet skirt and satin bodice, which featured large black buttons. In small black pumps, Agron glammed up her look with a sparkling ring and chandelier earrings that looked similar to the Marquise-Shaped Genuine Onyx Cubic Zirconia Accent 18k Gold-Plated Drop Earrings. Dormer wore her blonde hair in luxurious waves and polished her appearance with a mysterious smoky eye.
