Favorite fashion from the 2013 CMA Awards
Nov 12, 2013
The Country Music Association Awards celebrate the biggest names and talent in the genre's musical ensemble. At the 2013 affair, the singing stars showed up dressed to the nines. Here are a few favorite looks from the night:
Famous for her love ballads, the 23-year-old singer wore a red ball gown in a bright scarlet shade designed by Elie Saab. The sleeveless number featured an accented bodice covered in detailing of sequins, beads and gems that extended down the skirt of the dress to a gentle ruffle at the floor. Swift paired the dress with a sleek, pulled-back hairstyle and sported her signature bangs straight across her forehead. For makeup, she went with a smoky eye and a rich red pout in a shade similar to that of her gown. To complete her look, the songstress wore sparkling stud earrings that looked like 5 Piece Bangle Bracelet Set In Textured And Polished Yellow Gold Tone. She finished the look with a bold cocktail ring featuring gems to match those in her dress.
Jake Owen and Lacey Buchanan
The country crooner and his wife were definite contenders for the best-dressed couple at the 2013 CMA Awards. Wearing a fitted black suit, Owen was not without his own accents, wearing a long, dog tag necklace over a white t-shirt. Buchanan donned a sapphire dress in shimmery satin and a long skirt with a slight ruffle. Ruching on the bodice gave it a detailed deep v-neckline. The brown-haired beauty swept up her locks into an elaborate updo, and opted for classic jewelry with a bit of sparkle. On her wrist, she wore a two-toned bejeweled bracelet, similar in style to the Marquise-Shaped Genuine Onyx Cubic Zirconia Accent 18k Gold-Plated Drop Earrings.
