Jordin Sparks wows at Sparkle premiere

Jordin Sparks wowed at the screening of her latest film, Sparkle. The American Idol winner showed off her new slim figure in a blazing red Alice + Olivia peplum dress, which she matched with Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and a silver bracelet, according to Us Weekly.

Sparks' new film, Sparkle, is a remake of the 1976 musical with the same name. The film has gained a great deal of attention because Sparks co-starred with Whitney Houston, who died on February 11, the day before the Grammy's.

"It was going to be our first round of interviews to talk about 'Sparkle,'" Sparks told the news source. "Now, all of the things that she was going to do have fallen on my shoulders and the rest of the cast. I can feel it. My shoulders are a little tense, but at the same time, I feel like it's just a blessing. I'm really lucky. I get to talk about Whitney Houston."
