Renee Zellweger makes her way back to the red carpet

It has been five months since Renee Zellweger has strutted down a red carpet, and she looked as fabulous as ever. According to Us Weekly, the starlet came out to honor designer Carolina Herrera at the 29th Annual Fashion Group International Night of Stars at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Zellweger donned a slate gray, off-the-shoulder dress by the designer with Christian Louboutin shoes and a massive cocktail ring.

Zellweger made sure to make it to the event, as she has worn Herrera's creations numerous times - and Herrera also enjoys creating pieces for Zellweger.

"The red carpet is very important," Herrera previously told The New York Times. "You have to be very careful to have the right person dressed in right way. For me it has to be a perfect look. I love to dress Renee Zellweger."

According to Starpulse, Zellweger presented her favorite designer with the Superstar Award at the event.
