Vanessa Hudgens lights up red carpet in Australia

Actress Vanessa Hudgens looked radiant as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of her latest film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, which was held at the Event Cinemas George Street in Sydney this past Tuesday.

Hudgens donned a brightly-colored Amanda Wakeley gown with silver fray around the plunging neckline. She coupled the coral gown with some fashion jewelry including silver bangles to match her metallic nail polish and subtle silver earrings.

"It was a great cast, and we had so much fun," Hudgens told the Melbourne Herald Sun. "We filmed in Hawaii, which was paradise, and made something that's fun and light-hearted for the whole family."

The film is due out on Friday, February 10. This 3D film is the sequel to the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Hudgens had fellow star Josh Hutcherson walking down the red carpet with her. People should expect to see a lot more of Hutcherson as well, as he is starring in the upcoming film adaption of the popular teen novel The Hunger Games, which will premiere March 23.
