Best dressed at the 2013 People's Choice Awards

The 2013 People's Choice Awards covers music, movies and television, and the winners are all voted by the fans. Even though many of the biggest stars showed up for the event this past Wednesday, some were definitely better dressed than others.

Taylor Swift was one of the many gorgeous celebrities at the show, and she certainly stepped out of the box from her usual preppy style. According to People magazine, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" crooner donned a white Ralph Lauren Collection gown with a plunging neckline, bright turquoise Sutra earrings, a Le Vian ring and Christian Louboutin heels.

Swift was given the award for Favorite Country Artist, and when she was presented with the award by the stunning Olivia Munn, a little joke was played reminiscent of when Kanye West famously interrupted Swift in the middle of her acceptance speech. During the spoof, Munn kept interrupting Swift, who quickly replied, "This always happens to me."

Jennifer Lawrence was also a big winner of the night, as her film "The Hunger Games" earned five awards overall, including Favorite Movie Actress, Favorite Face of Heroism and Favorite On-Screen Chemistry with co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

When it came to her fashion choice, Lawrence went for an Old Hollywood look in a draped sequin dress, which she paired with dazzling drop earrings. Even though this dress received mixed reviews from critics, it is hard to deny that Lawrence still wowed the red carpet.

Katy Perry also chose a long-sleeved number. The brunette beauty donned a black dress with a floral print, which was much more demure than her usual looks. She paired the frock with drop bronze earrings and a cocktail ring. She earned the most awards in the music category including Pop Artist, Female Artist and Music Video for "Part of Me." In addition, her fans, which have been coined KatyCats, won for Favorite Music Fan Following.

Lea Michele was another standout star in terms of fashion. The "Glee" starlet donned a super-short and bright pink Elie Saab frock, which was complete with sheer paneling and sequins. Michele matched the look with Anita Ko jewels and hot pink strappy sandals, the media outlet reports.

Jennifer Aniston, who earned Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, went the way of Swift and opted for something she usually does not. Aniston donned a Dior black leather dress with black strappy sandals and studded earrings. When accepting her award, in which she beat out Mila Kunis, Emily Blunt, Reese Witherspoon, and Cameron Diaz, she got a little teary-eyed for the honor.

The best part about all of these looks that these starlets wore is that fashionistas can get the same looks but for much less by shopping for costume jewelry such as the Turquoise-Colored Pear-Shaped Stingray And Mother-Of-Pearl Drop Pierced Earrings In Silvertone.
