No one had any doubt who the star of the show at the premiere of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen in Los Angeles this past Monday night would be. Actress Emily Blunt wowed in a black strapless, white-dotted dress with a massive bell skirt, according to the Daily Mail.
Blunt co-starred with Ewan McGregor in the film, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The British film is based off a novel of the same name and is written by Paul Torday, the news source reports.
According to Us Weekly, the 29-year-old actress donned a straight-off-the-runway Naeek Kahn print dress, which she matched with Gianvito Rossi tuxedo shoes to the event. When it came to the accessories - she went simple. She wore studded earrings, a sparkly ring and of course - her wedding band.
Even though the star looked stunning at the event, she admitted that this isn't her usual getup, the media outlet reports.
"I kind of only want to wear jeans, boots and T-shirts," the actress told the publication while at the premiere. "And it [was] really hard to get me in this dress."
