Actress Jennifer Aniston put a whole new meaning into "little black dress," as the 42-year-old looked amazing in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana mini dress with matching black heels at the 64th annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood this past Saturday.
The actress-gone-director paired the black sparkly look with some fashion jewelry - diamond earrings and a stand-out ring. She brought along her boyfriend, actor Justin Theroux, who matched Aniston in an all-black suit and tie.
Aniston was nominated alongside Demi Moore, Alicia Keys, Patty Jenkins and Penelope Spheeris for co-directing Five on Lifetime. They lost the award to The Kennedy's Jon Cassar, but their dresses and jewelry were definitely winners.
There were a few other stars who looked amazing on the red carpet at the event. Berenice Bejo of The Artist donned a flapper-style black dress with gold accents. She matched the look with dangling earrings and a thin bracelet. Also, The Rum Diary's Amber Heard went with a simple navy column dress with some frills and ties. She coupled the gown with studded earrings, completing the elegant picture.
