Actress Katherine Heigl lit up the red carpet during the premiere of her latest film One for the Money in New York City. Heigl plays a tough-talking New Jersey native in the film.
The 33-year-old did not look like the gun-slinging character she portrays in the movie when she showed up to the premiere. Heigl donned a tight-fitting Herve L. Leroux dress, which was bright red in color. She matched it with Jimmy Choo heels and gorgeous Sethi Couture earrings. No other fashion jewelry was needed for the elegant ensemble.
The actress had to wear a brown wig for her role as Stephanie Plum, but at the event she wore her bleach blond hair in an elegant up-do. Heigl, who looked slimmer than ever, recently discussed her insecurities with her weight.
"I was 20 pounds heavier and wanted to look like those girls with fantastically beautiful bodies like Jennifer Aniston or Jessica Alba, but I just couldn't lose the weight," Heigl told British Cosmopolitan. "It's only now that I realize how hard those girls work for their bodies, and what level of commitment they make to do that."
