Lady Gaga is no stranger to color and high fashion, as she has dazzled and stunned on red carpets repeatedly over the years. Whether it is with a fun accessory such as a wild hat or leather gloves or fashion jewelry, it seems as if she is always making a statement. This Sunday she wasn't only noticed for the beauty of what she wore, but also for what she has done.
During the Trevor Live Benefit, Gaga was honored with the Hero Award for her support of the LGBT community. The award was presented to her by the family of Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide after being bullied for his sexual orientation and to whom she has paid tribute to more than once.
At the event, she wowed attendees with her black one-shoulder gown with matching gloves, a head piece that glistened along with her dangling earrings and single silver bracelet.
It wasn't just her dress and jewelry that were unique, but also her speech after accepting her award.
"This award means more to me than any Grammy I could ever win," she said.
