Madonna is no stranger to high fashion looks and gowns that truly make her stand-out. She did not disappoint during the premiere of her film W.E., which was held at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City this past Monday.
The 53-year-old iconic singer directed the film, and showed up with her daughter Lourdes and boyfriend Brahim Zaibat. She walked the red carpet in a floor-length black Marchesa gown complete with a lace and sequined bodice and massive ruffles on the sleeves.
The dress was quite loud on its own, but Madonna still added some glam with fashion jewelry. She donned dangling earrings and a big black-stoned bracelet.
"Well, the Oscars, the nominations are coming out tomorrow, and fingers crossed, I hope my movie gets nominated for something," Madonna told MTV on the red carpet Monday night. "I would be really grateful if it did, but if it doesn't, I got the Super Bowl - keep on going."
The movie did get nominated for one award - Arianne Phillips is up for Costume Design.
