Navy was the hue of the night at the SAG Awards

When it comes to award shows, there are usually trends and styles that many of the gorgeous starlets opt to wear. One of the many trends of the Screen Actors' Guild Awards was the color navy - a number of stars donned this beautiful hue as they strutted down the red carpet.

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence looked nothing short of gorgeous in navy strapless Dior Haute Couture gown, which she paired with her hair in loose waves and a beautiful diamond Chopard necklace, Us Weekly reports. She was also a big winner of the night, taking home the Actor statue for Best Female Actor in a Film for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook." However, the night was not complete without a slight wardrobe malfunction. When Lawrence went up to receive her honor, the dress shifted and the sheer paneling underneath separated, and many thought that she ripped the dress. This was not the case, however, as the two parts just separated, and Lawrence didn't even seem to care since she didn't mention it the rest of the night.

Amanda Seyfried
"Les Miserables" star Amanda Seyfried looked stunning in her navy ensemble. According to People magazine, the blonde actress channeled Old Hollywood in a strapless Zac Posen, which she matched with a massive Lorraine Schwartz pendant necklace and her hair in loose waves on the side. The dress flared out into a mermaid-style with a small train that moved effortlessly as she strutted her stuff down the red carpet.

Nicole Kidman
Even though Nicole Kidman goes for the same looks time and time again, they never disappoint. The actress had her hair pin straight and opted for a Vivienne Westwood Couture column dress in navy with lace detailing. She paired the gorgeous dress with simple Fred Leighton drop earrings and strappy heels, People reports.

Marion Cotillard
Marion Cotillard's stunning Dior Haute Couture gown was not all navy, but she looked just as amazing as the other ladies. The talented actress's dress was two-toned with white on the top and blue on the bottom, and a bow around the waist. She completed the look with Chopard jewels.

Those who want to emulate any of these ladies styles can do so without breaking the bank by purchasing affordable jewelry such as the 23.46 TCW Pear-Cut, Oval-Cut and Round Cubic Zirconia Silvertone Metal "Y" Necklace for much less.
