The Academy Awards took place this past Sunday night, bringing the best of the best to the event, including many women who looked nothing short of stunning as they made their way down the red carpet.
Even though actress Sandra Bullock wasn't nominated, she certainly brought her A-game to the red carpet. According to People magazine, the actress wowed in an intricate-laced cap sleeved Elie Saab gown, which she paired with tons of Harry Winston jewels - everything from the diamond-encrusted brooch in her hair to her massive rings.
Bullock is no stranger to this event, as she was honored with the Best Actress award for her role in "The Blind Side" in 2010. The brunette beauty was not the only former Best Actress winner to make her way to the red carpet in a statement ensemble. According to Us Weekly, Halle Berry, who won for "Monster's Ball" in 2001, wowed in a striped Versace frock. She paired the standout dress with Adelier earrings, a Le Vian ring and Jimmy Choo's "Vibe" platform sandal.
Charlize Theron, who won in 2003 for her role in "Monster," also wowed at the event. According to the Daily Mail, the stunning actress was simply stunning in a white peplum Dior Haute Couture gown, which she paired with Harry Winston jewels and her adorable super-short blonde tresses. The starlet chopped her hair off for her role in "Mad Max: Fury Road," and she does not regret her choice at all.
"It's the most freeing thing, I highly recommend it. I think every woman should do it," Theron told Ryan Seacrest before the Oscars. "I had two huge garbage bags full of hair products. It's so freeing."
Not only did Theron present at the awards, but she also showed off her dance moves. The South African beauty wowed the audience when she performed a dance number with Channing Tatum, as host Seth MacFarlane sang "The Way You Look Tonight." One thing's for sure, it is evident that the starlet has had some serious training, as the two put on a flawless performance, the media outlet reports.
Those who want to emulate Bullock's style can do so without breaking the bank by purchasing affordable jewelry such as the Round Aurora Borealis Crystal Silvertone Metal Bouquet Pin for much less.
