Sarah Jessica Parker stuns at New York City event

Oct 05, 2012

Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her taste in style, whether or not it was inspired by her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City is still up for debate. She looked lovely once again in a tie-dye-inspired Oscar de la Renta dress with a chain metal necklace, according to People Magazine.

In the recent issue of Elle Magazine, Parker opened up about her future roles, and how she will never play a Carrie Bradshaw-like character again.

"I don't love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City," Parker says of future roles. "I loved Sex and the City's Carrie [Bradshaw] and I don't want to do the poor man's version of her. And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it's more reason to look in the other direction."

The magazine highlighted women who have made a significant impact on the film industry - Parker was honored along with Octavia Spencer, Cate Blanchett, Uma Thurman, Elle Fanning and more.

Those who want to emulate Parker's style can do so without breaking the bank by purchasing affordable jewelry such as Silver Tone Simulated Necklace and Pierced Earrings Set for much less.
