Stars dazzle at HBO's Girls premiere

Apr 05, 2012

The premiere of HBO's newest comedy titled Girls brought out a number of A-list celebrities to the SVA Theater in Manhattan's Chelsea district this past Wednesday night. According to the Daily Mail, some of the show stoppers included Claire Danes, who wore a eye-catching patchwork Preen dress with drop earrings, Kevin Bacon, Leslie Mann and Olivia Palermo.

This new series stars Lena Durham, who is also the creator of the show, and three of her friends as they tackle New York City. The similarities to Sex and The City begin and end with the story involving four friends, as Girls shows a more realistic picture of those living in the Big Apple in their 20s, according to Huffington Post.

The four leading ladies - Durham, Zosia Mamet, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams - all looked fantastic on the red carpet.

Fashionistas who relate to the A-list celebrities or the characters in the show can take advantage of purchasing fashion jewelry such as the Simulated Grey Pearl Earrings, which gives ladies the same red carpet jewels without breaking the bank.
