Subtle jewelry complements the gorgeous gowns at National Board of Review Gala

Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain, Stacy Keibler - they all made quite the entrance at the Golden Globe Kick Off party and the Palm Springs Film Festival, and they did so again at the National Board of Review Gala on Tuesday night in New York City.

Davis went for a bright fuchsia Ralph Lauren cowl dress, which she matched with a beautiful gold necklace. Chastain chose a balloon-skirted Zac Posen with embroidery around the front.

Keibler chose a long Marchesa black gown with a sparkling neckline. Not to mention her best accessory - her date, George Clooney - who received the Best Actor award.

The winners were already announced for these awards, but it doesn't make it a completely stress-free evening.

"It's easier," Shailene Woodley told the news source. "It eliminates the suspense and cold sweats." But it's not entirely easy, "I have to give a speech. I have major stage fright," she continued.

Woodley co-starred with Clooney in "The Descendants," and garnered the Best Supporting Actress award.

Other stars who looked fabulous with their subtle fashion jewelry include Chloe Moretz in a red Miu Miu belted coat dress complete with sparkly headband and Emma Stone in a cream J. Mendal dress with beading embellishments and diamond studs.
