Vanessa Hudgens wows at recent L.A. event

Vanessa Hudgens was pretty in pink when she arrived at Variety's Power 6th Annual of Youth presented by Cartoon Network at Paramount Studios this past weekend. According to ShowBizSpy, the stunning actress donned a peach-tiered mini with a few cocktail rings, which she paired with beige heels.

Hudgens recently spoke with Untitled Magazine about finding roles that had more edge after her stint with High School Musical, and even though it wasn't easy, she feels as though she accomplished the feat.

''For a while I was kind of struggling and fighting for these roles that I just desperately wanted. It was hard and it was a struggle, but then again life is always a struggle," Hudgens told the publication. ''Having a career will always be a struggle. You'll always have to fight for what you want. Definitely crossing over and being able to tackle these grittier parts was a challenge, but I feel like I've done it! It's a whole new chapter!''
